We are inviting you to apply for a one-year fixed term full time post as a Teaching Assistant within Aston Pharmacy School.

The core healthcare programme within Aston Pharmacy School (the MPharm) is currently being updated to meet the new educational standards set by the regulatory body (the General Pharmaceutical Council). This post has been established to provide additional academic support, for a one-year period, to the academic staff within the School leading on the update of the programme and associated General Pharmaceutical Council accreditation processes.

You will be expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of teaching and scholarship activities within Aston Pharmacy School as part of a team involved in the update of the MPharm programme to meet new educational standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Activities will include contribution to curriculum design and the delivery of high-quality teaching to meet the new educational standards set by the GPhC.

You will be educated to a degree level or have associated relevant experience. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician) is desirable.
