Salary: UH8 £45,163 to £56,921 pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Join our dynamic Systems Operations team, part of the Library and Computing Service at the University of Hertfordshire, where we are committed to providing leading IT support and services. This opportunity has arisen due to our ongoing expansion and commitment to maintaining a robust and secure IT infrastructure.
Main duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated IT professional with a proven track record in managing Microsoft 365 infrastructure. As part of our skilled team, you will be responsible for the technical administration and maintenance of our enterprise Microsoft environments. Your main duties will include:
Skills and experience required
You will have excellent troubleshooting skills and expertise of Active Directory and ADFS administration and Windows server management. You will have significant experience in Security policy, GDPR and health monitoring, and a good understanding of current security threats and trends and familiarity with applying systems security and patching following industry best practices. Knowledge of Linux administration would be an advantage.
Qualifications required
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent or Qualification in computing at a professional level or equivalent expertise and experience.
