System Analyst (at the rank of IT Officer) in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 525728) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with 3 years' relevant work experience. Knowledge and/or solid work experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage:
They should also possess good interpersonal skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, and be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
The appointee will be responsible for IT solutions and support to the Faculty's student management and curriculum development initiatives. He/She will provide support and enhancement to various web-based applications and materials, the automation of administrative operations and the design and administration of online surveys. He/She will also be responsible for the maintenance of the Faculty's website, technical support to the staff members, strategic projects of the Faculty and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
