  • About the Role Swinburne University of Technology is looking for a Learning Support Technologist to enhance the adoption and utilisation of learning technologies within its Learning Ecosystem. In this role, you will provide high-level technical support and resources, working closely with educators, vendors, and technologists to optimise technology-enabled learning. Your ability to bridge the gap between technology and learning will be essential, as you apply your technical expertise and understanding of higher education pedagogy to optimise technology-enabled learning practices.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of capabilities and use of Canvas Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other general learning technology.
  • Demonstrated capacity to create, iterate and improve support resources for academic and teaching staff in the use of the LMS and learning technologies for online and blended learning.
  • Experience in the successful delivery of capability building of teaching staff through training and other professional learning activities relating to learning technology.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to liaise and collaborate with staff to respond to understand the context they operate in.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot technical issues or systems issues in learning technology independently.

    Qualifications A degree with subsequent experience and/or extensive relevant experience in the areas of technology enhanced learning.
