We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified and experienced librarian to fill this Subject Librarian vacancy within the Academic Services section of the University of Bath Library.
Working within the Library's Science subject team, you will provide exemplary services as librarian for departments within the Faculty, currently as Librarian for Life Sciences.
You will:
You will contribute to the development of wider Library strategy and services, and participate in task and finish and special interest groups essential to support this. You should be innovative and collaborative in your work, with excellent communication skills in both in person and online environments. An ability to work accurately with numerical and financial data, and a range of IT systems and media will be essential.
Experience of supporting subject disciplines and resources relevant to mathematical sciences and pharmacy & pharmacology teaching and research, or similar subject knowledge would be an advantage.
Applicants should have a CILIP accredited qualification in librarianship or information studies, or equivalent, to at least undergraduate level, and be a Chartered member of, or committed to completing Chartership with CILIP.
