The Study Abroad Program Officer acts as the initial point of contact for incoming study abroad enquiries, supporting Bond University’s Study Abroad Program. This includes a range or administrative responsibilities including developing proactive student and partner communications; responding to program and subject enquiries; facilitation of campus visits and events; coordination of the Study Abroad Alumni Ambassador Program; and successful student onboarding including enrolment support.

The position is required to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Study Abroad Program entry requirements, study abroad subject offerings and agent and institutional partner arrangements. The position collaborates with the admissions, student exchange, partnerships and international recruitment teams to ensure a high level of student and partner satisfaction to enable growth of the Study Abroad Program.

The position reports to the Regional Director, Europe and the Americas. Work outside of standard business hours may be required to support specific study abroad activities.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and attention to detail in an administrative or similar role
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and provide advice to a variety of internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Possess proven experience in planning and executing activities, projects and events with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt across various forms of communication.
  • Show comprehensive experience in using computer applications such as databases, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and web
  • Embrace a client-focused approach and exhibit a genuine passion for enhancing the student experience.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $80,787.14 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
