Brandon University seeks an energetic and dynamic professional to serve as a full-time Student Success Officer in a continuing appointment. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Retention, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the recruitment and retention of students. The position requires extensive travel, which may be up to 4-5 days per week during specific times of year. Duties for the Student Success Officer include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required, and two years of related experience is preferred. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Bachelor's degree and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required, including public speaking. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license. Experience working in secondary or post-secondary education is an asset. Experience in planning and carrying out events is also considered an asset.
