About the Role The Student Engagement team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Student Success Advisor to join their team!
As the Student Success Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting students in adapting to and succeeding in tertiary study. Working as part of a wider team, you will have the opportunity to coach, advise and monitor students to help them complete their course and pathways through to further education or employment. You will be involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities designed to improve student engagement, enhance academic attainment and reduce student attrition, including self-access resources, facilitated group activities, and one-on-one student consultations.
The position will maintain a collaborative working relationship with staff in allocated University's Schools and liaise with other Swinburne service areas (e.g. Learning and Academic Skills and AccessAbility) to deliver tailored advice, discipline-specific workshops, and effective cross-service student referrals.
