  • Role Description Role

    The role of Student Services Administrator will be responsible for the provision of a professional, efficient administrative service supporting a wide range of teaching, learning and assessment activities from the point of student enrolment through to graduation. You may work with either our undergraduate, postgraduate taught, or postgraduate research programmes.

    You will be working within a larger Student Services team as part of a unified team in both the Department of Environment and Geography and the Department of Chemistry, who support each other on a daily basis, and which is at the heart of the student experience. You will be required to work with colleagues across the University to ensure the service functions effectively, working in accordance with the University and Departmental policies and procedures. Administering a portfolio of modules and/or programmes, you will work closely with academic and other professional service colleagues to ensure the excellent and efficient running of our degree programmes.

    This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with students, making a difference and achieving results. You will be a brilliant communicator, have good time management skills and be strong at developing relationships. You will also have a real eye for detail, a focus on continuous improvement and the drive to get things done.

    Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
  • Experience in providing front-line customer service in a busy environment, to a high standard

  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks to produce work to a high standard

  • Accurately record, analyse, interpret and report information/data

  • Organise activities and resources

  • Use digital technologies including Google applications and/or Microsoft Office
