The UK Student Recruitment is looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Assistant to support the delivery of recruitment and conversion activities in order to support the University in meeting its student recruitment and enrolment targets.
The post holder will act as the front-line response for all incoming enquiries from prospective students, schools and colleges, and will represent the University in a range of HE Exhibitions and Fairs ensuring a consistently excellent experience for prospective students, applicants and offer holders.
They will work flexibly, contributing across all areas of the wider team, which will involve working events, and supporting the wider team's objectives.
The PersonExperience of working in a customer-focused environment and an interest in promoting the aims of Higher Education is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key for this role as you will provide a front- line response to enquiries from prospective students and offer holders. Recruitment activity will take place through both in person and digital events and you will be expected to be able to communicate confidently with both individuals and groups while providing high quality information and guidance. Responsibilities also include processing data in order to report on enquiries, leads, and conversion so good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data are required for this role.
You will be a team player with the ability to build successful and productive working relationships. You will also manage a busy and varied workload and have a strong interest in promoting fair access and the aims of higher education.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete a full satisfactory DBS check and be prepared to travel around the UK to support events.
