Please note: This role is only available to current University of Worcester or partner institution student studying at level 5, 6 or 7 on a Sports related degree.

The School of Sport and Exercise Science (SSES) is funding Student Learning and Teaching Assistant (SLTA) posts. These SLTAs will provide students with ‘hands on' experience of working in collaboration with an academic or academics on learning and teaching related projects / initiatives, enabling them to gain valuable experience which will enhance their CV.

These are prestigious positions, marking out a student as a future researcher or potential academic. In addition, this scheme provides staff with invaluable support in taking their learning and teaching ideas forward and experience of supporting a student to develop their skills..

The post-holders will support a member or members of SSES staff with different aspects of learning and teaching projects which could include the evaluation of initiatives; collation and development of resources; creation of materials to support learning; transcribing and analysing data from learning and teaching related research.

Successful applicants would need to be available June and July 2024 either in person or online to undertake the duties associated with the post.
