  • Position Summary:

    The UAS Student Housing office is hiring Cleaning Crew student assistants for academic year employment. We view our student staff team members as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Pay begins at $14.38/hr. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis with review beginning immediately and filled as positions become available.

    Duties:

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: The Cleaning Crew work in a team environment to perform general janitorial tasks in the common areas in Student Housing and to provide extensive housekeeping support within rented and recently vacated living units, as is common within the hospitality industry.

    Though training is largely provided, we do expect some of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to be displayed and demonstrated:

    May not be on disciplinary probation Effective interpersonal skills Ability to work as a member of a staff team Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks Comfort and ability to work in an environment where customer service is valued and expected of all staff

    Typical Experience:

  • Required Education or Training:

    Training is provided to all student staff of Student Housing. This training includes; cleaning and basic maintenance training, equipment and chemical usage training, and hazardous materials training.

    Salary Information:

    This is a part-time, academic year, non-exempt student position. New hires will be hired on at Student Assistant 2, Step 13 ($14.38 hourly).
