Position Summary The student house manager (SHM) is responsible for house managing performances by Hugh Hodgson School of Music ensembles, assisting the PAC Patron Services Manager (PSM) during PAC season events, as well as some rental performances. The SHM may also be asked to manage the concession stand when the need arises. The SHM is either the sole or one of the front-of-house points of contact for patrons, artists, and ushers during events. The SHM should be confident, well-spoken, and work well under pressure. Most of the ushers whom the SHM supervises are students, so the applicant should be comfortable leading and enforcing rules with their peers.
