The Lead Student Honors Associate coordinates the function of the Student Honors Associates under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Honors and the Administrative Coordinator. In addition to their regular duties as a Student Honors Associate, the Lead Student Honors Associate fulfills administrative tasks such as creating work schedules, acting as the liaison between Student Honors Associates and the Assistant Dean of Honors and Administrative Coordinator, and helping with hiring and training.
Required Qualifications
One academic year as any other Student Honors Associate position.

Primary Responsibilities
ResponsibilityDescription
1. Oversee function, performance, and needs of the Student Honors Associates and discuss them, as appropriate, with the Assistant Dean and Administrative Coordinator.
2. Communicate information to other Student Honors Associates at the request of the Dean of the Honors College, the Assistant Dean of Honors, and/or the Administrative Coordinator.
3. Organize shift schedules for Fall, Spring, May terms and manage shift swaps and changes by reflecting changes in information on the shared calendar.
4. Coordinate mid-year performance reviews and feedback meetings for the Student Honors Associates.
5. Assist with the hiring of new Student Honors Associates.
6. Remind Student Honors Associates of expectations and guidelines and oversee adherence to those expectations and guidelines.
7. Assist with training sessions for Student Honors Associates.
8. Complete all assigned tasks and duties of a Student Honors Associate.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Current or previous Student Honors Associate who has worked for the Honors College for at least one year.
· Be an excellent communicator with his/her fellow students and supervisor.
· Be timely in solving problems or bringing them to the attention of supervisor.
· Consistently check email to stay on top of any scheduling issues or other student employment problems.
· Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook calendar.
