    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high level support for various learning experiences, clinical placements, and assessments, ensuring they are appropriately scheduled and coordinated.

  • Provide effective and efficient administration to support clinical placements, student field trips and workshops.

  • Prepare and manage correspondence and enquiries, by referring for action or advice and seek timely follow-up and resolution of issues as required.

  • Provide administrative support to the academic team, including updating and distributing teaching materials and information.

    The newly established Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences will be an interdisciplinary powerhouse of innovation and collaboration to lead integrated solutions to the needs of the communities we serve locally and globally.     About You

  • Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply a range of rules, policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.

  • High-level computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and web-based educational platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement.

  • Desirable experience in and a commitment to living and working in rural and/or regional Australia.

  • Relevant experience in student and/or academic administration in a higher education institution or similar environment will be highly regarded.

  • Travel and out of hours work: Attendance at programs and/or functions outside normal business hours may be required and will be remunerated in accordance with standard University policy.

  • This position may require some travel; the individual must be willing to travel as needed particularly between any of the University's local campuses or locations.

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including right to work in Australia, criminal check, mandatory immunisations.
