Nanook Recreation is looking for dependable student employees to join our staff. Knowledge of UAF, Nanook Recreation and the SRC is helpful, but not necessary.
Duties:Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to operate independently within departmental standards of conduct and professional expectations with proper training, awareness of risk management and safety concerns. Excellent customer service skills. Reasonable level of physical fitness. Dependability, responsibility and punctuality. Professional attire and behavior. Awareness of and appreciation for individual uniqueness and diversity. Knowledge of, and/or interest in, recreation and fitness activities. Enthusiasm, desire to learn and desire to work as part of a team.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Preference for 6+ months of customer service experience.
Required Experience & Education:
CPR/1st aid certified or willing to become certified.
Salary Information:
Pay starting at $12.11 an hour depending on experience.
