Student Assistant II – Mini U Camp Prep and Instructor

Duties: Assist with preparations for summer camp. Assist admin staff with camp registrations, attendance, supplies, promotion, administration and other paperwork. Fill in for other instructors if needed. Some light cleaning duties. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively. Ability to work courteously with the public. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Detail-orientated, punctual, and reliable. Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Preference given to post-secondary students: either a current Brandon University student at second year undergraduate level in good standing or a student with comparable status from another post-secondary institution.

Some advanced training and/or specialized experience is an asset. Previous experience instructing others is an asset. Previous experience working with children and youth is a strong asset.

Must have valid class 5 drivers license and access to a vehicle. Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check. First Aid/CPR (adult/child) certification required.
