Position Summary
The Graphic Design Lab Assistant manages the Graphic Design Print Lab and provides office and graphic design support to the program coordinator and/or dean as needed.
This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work- Study Program.
Essential Functions
- Manage the Graphic Design Print Lab; - Provide clerical and office assistance to program coordinator and/or dean; - Perform other duties as assigned. - Photo and photo editing is required.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; - Possess good verbal communication skills; - Ability to clean and maintain the machines in the Graphic Design Mac Lab; - Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures; - Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA
Required Education
Required Work Experience
- Experience with printers and printing/troubleshooting; - Experience with Mac platforms
Preferred Qualifications Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations Work Hours
Position may work up to 20 hrs. per week
