The Office of Admissions is looking for Student Ambassadors! Student Ambassadors carry out a diverse range of activities to assist recruitment efforts at UAF. Student ambassadors serve as aspirational peers and as catalysts for engagement with the university. Duties:Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Demonstrated leadership potential and/or previous leadership experience. Ability to communicate (written/verbal) effectively with all types of people. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to multitask and prioritize varied tasks. Ability to analyze information, solve problems and use sound judgment in decision making. Knowledge of basic computer software. Strong organizational skills. Positive attitude. Approachability. A commitment of one full semester (one full academic year preferred). Preference will be given to applicants with in-depth knowledge of: UAF, general knowledge of the admissions process, well-rounded knowledge of the academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities at UAF, involvement in student organizations.

Completed at least one semester at UAF already
Required Education or Training:
1) Be enrolled in at least 6 UA credits. 2) have at least a 2.0 GPA. 3) completed at least one semester at UAF already
Salary Information: This is a Student Assistant position; the position will pay $16.00 per hour. Special Instructions to Applicants:
