Hours: As needed

Duties:

  • Promote student ambassador club and recruit new membership
    • Speak to all classes from T1-T6 about club and 1st meeting
    • Hold information session for new students each trimester
  • Regular communication/meetings with co-SAC president
  • Responsible for all SAC events:
    • Planning and coordination of each event
    • Responsible for member attendance at each event
    • Must be in attendance of each event that is program specific and/or coordinate with lead person in the other programs
    • Lead each event
    • Track each event including written evaluation of each event
  • Responsible for timely correspondence with the student ambassador email account and student ambassador voicemail
  • Must serve 3 terms (3rd term transition period for new presidents)
  • Regular meetings and communications of progress of the club with admissions on weekly, monthly, trimester (Communication with student affairs, alumni as needed)
  • Selection of new candidates for presidents (Admissions to interview)
  • Failure to meet said responsibilities could lead to termination of position and cancellation of Student Ambassador Co-President Agreement

Requirements:

  • Must be a current student at Northwestern Health Sciences University and in good academic standings, required
  • Active member of the Student Ambassador Club for at least one academic year, required
  • Sign confidentiality agreement, required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
