 About the Position
Working closely with the Director of Student Success and Wellbeing, the Strategic Projects Assistant will support the designing, coordinating, and implementing strategic initiatives, events and educational resources that enhance students' transition, academic success, employability, and wellbeing at Bond University.

Key responsibilities include contributing to Orientation Week, coordinating the Bond Together Week initiative to promote respect, diversity, and inclusion, and developing strategic documents, reports, and educational resources focused on mental health, wellbeing, and student safety. The role requires a collaborative approach, working with students and internal stakeholders to co-design and deliver these key projects.

About the person

The ideal applicant will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification and relevant experience in an educational or comparable organization.
  • Proven experience providing executive support and administration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including involvement in large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with students and a diverse range of internal and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently to achieve outcomes within defined scope and timelines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to design, develop, and refine high-quality presentations, reports, and digital resources for specific audiences.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft tools (Power BI, Dynamics, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), along with experience in presentation software (e.g., Canva), to create data-driven reports and impactful resources.

Salary details

The salary for this 0.8 FTE position commences at $57,424.79 per annum (Full-time Equivalent is $71,780.99 per annum) plus 12% superannuation per annum.
