We are looking to recruit a resourceful, flexible, and enthusiastic individual to support the development of new and ongoing research projects in magnetoencephalography (both cryogenic MEG and our newly commissioned OPM-MEG system), and in the Aston Laboratory for Immersive Virtual Environments (ALIVE).
You will be technically skilled, and also an excellent communicator who can contribute to a diverse range of research projects, from the design stage through implementation, and data analysis. Particular strengths in experimental design and computer programming for neuroscience research are required, with experience in MEG or a closely related technique.
The MEG laboratories sit within Aston's Institute for Health and Neurodevelopment, and along with ALIVE form part of the College of Health and Life Sciences. We have a focus on human neuroscience research which is clinically relevant and often focused on work with children.
