    We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and determined person to join us and supervise the security and safety of all users of York Sport, ensuring their enjoyment in all areas of the facilities.

We have over 39 acres of sports fields and a range of indoor facilities to support a variety of sports, clubs, and teams.

    As a Sport Assistant you will be highly motivated, with a commitment to delivering first class service to all York Sport facilities users and an ability to contribute through fulfilling a wide range of practical duties.

    You will possess an ability to work on your own initiative and a commitment to working within a team. A strong interest in sport and leisure activities and in delivering high quality service at all times is required. The post holder will be required to obtain an NPLQ within six months of employment if they do not already hold one.

    The hours of work are 18.5 per week. The successful candidate will be required to work Fridays 4pm - 8.30pm, Saturday 8am - 3pm & Sundays 8am - 3pm

    The salary is £26,250.88 - £26,829.67 per year (reduced pro-rata for part time working).
