    Position description

    The Department of Family Medicine, University of California Irvine School of Medicine, anticipates openings in the Specialist Series (Junior, Assistant, Associate, and Full Specialist). The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated. This is an ongoing recruitment. Rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. Renewal is based on availability of extramural funding. • Junior Specialists - Should possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience. • Assistant Specialists - Should possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree), or 5 yrs. of experience. • Associate Specialists - Should possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree) or 5-10 yrs. of experience. • Specialists - Should possess a terminal degree (PhD/MD) (or equivalent degree) or 10+ yrs. of experience
