We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated space planner to join the Estates & Capital Development team at Aston University.

Reporting to the Space Manager, the Space Planner will undertake a range of space planning, design and move management activities across the University including new furniture design and specification, re-planning of offices and student spaces and managing move projects, liaising with customers and suppliers. We provide generous annual leave of 43 days per annum, including statutory holidays, and are very flexible in our approach. We operate an agile working policy whereby you may work where best suits the activity, including working at home if desired, however attendance on campus is expected to be two days per week on average.

The successful applicant will have a relevant degree and be experienced in space planning and move management, ideally in a Higher Education or public sector environment, with the ability to use AutoCAD, CAFM systems and MS Office applications. They will be expected to work independently on their projects, with the ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders and suppliers.
