About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced communications professional to join our team temporarily to cover a period of maternity leave. You will play a key role in enhancing our activity on the University's central social media channels in China.
In collaboration with colleagues from the Communications, Marketing, and Recruitment teams, you will be responsible for engaging with and expanding the University's community across our main social media platforms in China, while also contributing to the institution's broader social media efforts. This role involves creating, repurposing, and translating content to align with the needs of our community, planning and executing campaigns, and evaluating the success of your activities.

The successful candidate must have proven skills/experience of:
You will be able to communicate effectively and confidently to develop good working relationships. You should have excellent organisational skills, and be able to successfully manage your workload, as well as stakeholder expectations.
You'll be open to new communications and marketing developments and have the confidence to offer insights and to suggest and generate new ideas to ensure we offer relevant and engaging content to our audiences.
This post is fixed-term until March 2026 or the early return of the postholder.
