The Westminster Men's Lacrosse team is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our team and elevate our online presence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and enhancing the program's social media presence and showcasing the team's achievements, culture, and behind-the-scenes moments. As the Social Media Manager Intern, you will play a pivotal role in engaging our fan base, promoting our team, and contributing to the overall success of the program.

Required Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Avid self-learner with a passion for the digital marketing industry and social media specifically.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their best practices, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt your tone and style to different platforms and audiences.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and software, including photo editing applications.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools to track social media performance is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
  • Availability to attend practices, games, and team events to capture content.
