About the role
Skating School Instructor
Responsible for reporting to all scheduled classes and having lesson plans
prepared prior to class start.
Follows Learn to Skate Program and Learn to Play Program requirements and
formats.
Keeps accurate attendance records on all students.
Notifies supervisor if any accidents occur and brings the student to the
first aid room.
Completes periodic evaluations for students to ensure proper level
assignment.
Answers parent questions and performs equipment checks as requested.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
Learn to Skate USA membership required
Minimum Level of Education Required None Required; Professional Skating
Instructor continuing education preferred
Minimum Level of Experience Required Coaching experience preferred, but
not required
Working Conditions Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
