Working at CQUniversityCQUniversity's School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Sciences are renowned for our leadership in nursing education. Currently, we have a unique opportunity for a nursing technician to support the simulation and practical learning activities across our Nursing courses.
You will be responsible for the organising and set up of equipment which simulate a healthcare setting in our clinical learning spaces (no direct healthcare experience required, but beneficial). You will organise the relevant equipment and resources which simulates real life situations and facilitates the learning experience for our students. You are highly organised and be confident providing a range of administrative support including purchasing and replenishing resources, and activities related to workplace health and safety, in collaboration with teach staff.
We offer flexibility in working hours as our clinical learning suites are open seven days a week during our student peak seasons. This position would suit healthcare professionals, students, or individuals looking to re-enter the workforce in a health setting.
