Short-Term Programme Manager

What does MUNI mean? We are a university with ten faculties, more than 200 departments, institutes, and clinics, active in various natural and humanities academic disciplines and research areas. The mission of Masaryk University is to contribute through its scientific activities, student education, and societal impact to a quality and healthy life for all generations and to a free, cohesive, and secure society.

The Masaryk University Center for International Cooperation (CZS MU) coordinates Masaryk University's activities in the field of international cooperation. It administers international exchange programs for students, teachers, researchers, and other staff. It coordinates the preparation of English-taught study programs for international students and provides methodological support and information in many areas. CZS MU also maintains bilateral relationships with foreign universities, promotes awareness of MU's English programs among international students, and creates and publishes promotional materials.

The Department for Short-Term and Innovative Programs organizes non- traditional mobility programs and is looking for a manager for programs such as summer and winter schools. Our ideal candidate is communicative, enjoys working with young people, and is comfortable communicating in English professionally.

  • Has completed higher education (Master's degree)
  • Is fluent in English (minimum level C1) and Czech (minimum level B2) in both written and spoken communication
  • Has strong organizational skills, a managerial approach, and isn't afraid of responsibility
  • Possesses good communication skills, values an environment where initiative and finding new solutions are encouraged
  • Can work well with people in a multicultural environment and is adaptable

  • Personal experience with mobility programs
  • Familiarity with the university environment
  • Experience in organizing events or group programs
  • What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Planning and creating program offerings for students, including budgeting, communicating with instructors, and organizing staffing (assistants for summer and winter schools)
  • Communicating with international partners and other CZS teams
  • Implementing programs, direct interaction with international students, and supervising events
