Creative Writing – Faculty of Arts

The Department of English, Drama, and Creative Writing is seeking a qualified sessional instructor to teach the following courses at the Brandon University Campus for the 2023/24 Winter session. Preference will be given to a qualified candidate who will teach in-person. Qualifications: A PhD is preferred; Master's Degree or equivalent required Salary: $6314.00/3 credit hour course Application deadline: A review of applications will begin August 31 and the posting will remain open until it is filled. Term: Winter – January 3 – April 5, 2024

English, Drama, and Creative Writing

20:353 -Theatre Performance I – Winter (Wednesday evenings)

A practical course in the preparation and performance of theatre. Participants will be expected to contribute their time and talent to the public productions of the Brandon University Theatre. Rehearsals as necessary.

20:354 – Theatre Performance II – Winter (Wednesday evenings)

An advanced course in the practical preparation and performance of theatre. Students will be encouraged to produce their own work as well as contribute to the Brandon University Theatre. Rehearsals as necessary.

Please note that 20.353 and 20.354 are taught concurrently, and are considered as ONE course for the instructor.
