DUTIES

The Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for sessional instructors to teach the following courses during the Summer Semester 2024 (May through August):

FNCE 2120 Financial Management (2 sections)

All instruction is face-to-face, so the applicant(s) selected will have to be located near Kamloops or be willing to relocate. Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday, usually at night, so this is an excellent opportunity for finance practitioners working in the community to teach part-time and share their knowledge with students just entering the profession.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should possess:

  • MBA or master's degree with a specialization in finance is required.
  • CFA designation is required.
  • Potential for superior teaching is required.
  • Significant related work experience is preferred.

  • Ability to use a variety of instructional technologies is preferred.
