DUTIES

To teach ADVG 4010 Business Applications for Eco and Adventure Tourism Management.

This course is the study of applied business concepts and practices pertaining to the management and marketing of eco and adventure tourism operations. The course examines tourism strategic management, business start-up considerations, product positioning, tourism opportunity studies, tourism consulting, innovative pricing methods, and product development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Five years or more experience in the management of adventure tourism business.
  • Graduate from an Adventure business program an asset.
  • Classroom and field teaching experience an asset.
  • Product development in the adventure tourism industry an asset.
  • Pay Band

    $2,575.50 - $2,575.50 ( Sessional Faculty - Academic (per credit) )
