Senior Transport Coordinator (Internal Applicants only)
The role:
The main objective of the role is to manage the Framework Travel Plan
associated with Cambridge West or Eddington developments, to ensure that the
transport related aspects of the planning permission and S106 requirements are
fulfilled. The role holder reports to the Transport Team Manager, and is part
of the Environmental Sustainability Team in Estates Division. There will also
be regular liaison with the Development Directors and other colleagues from
the Property and Planning Teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Acting as the client lead in managing transport consultants.
Management of sustainable transport initiatives and projects.
Managing and reviewing the delivery of monitoring and surveys, as well as
analysing and presenting the results via reports and presentations.
Establishing and managing a Framework Travel Plan Steering Group,
comprised of development specific stakeholders.
Ensuring that site occupiers have Travel Plans in place, and that these
are active.
Seek accreditation for Travel Plans by entering data, and submitting
through the Modeshift STARS platform.
About you:
You will need to have an undergraduate degree, or have equivalent
extensive experience in a relevant discipline.
The role requires someone with experience in successfully delivering
complex travel plans and associated trip monitoring, and reporting to
discharge planning obligations and conditions. as
You will also need to have experience in the development, management and
delivery of sustainable transport projects and initiatives as well as
being comfortable with managing consultants contractors and suppliers.
For this role you will need excellent oral and written communication
skills, with proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a
variety of audiences in writing and in meetings, coupled with the ability
to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of
stakeholders.
You will need to be both a team player and someone who can work
independently, as well as being flexible as you may occasionally need to
attend evening meetings in person.
