About The Role

We are looking to recruit a fixed term part-time AEC CAD Senior Technician to work with our Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Interior Design undergraduates learning AutoDesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant 3D software. The scope of the role involves directly training students in learning software skills, and then triage support in small groups and in 1-to-1 sessions on campus.

You will support our current Senior Technician AEC CAD, who is currently seconded to another role, in delivering their curriculum.

About You

We are looking for somebody who understands the use and application of software to support the courses above, and is confident in the language and materials of construction as well as the needs of built environment practice in CAD data format, handling, and use.

We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification or construction industry/industrial experience
  • Demonstrable recent experience in BIM software and construction industry detailing
  • Recent experience of curriculum support and assessment of technical aspects in a relevant subject.
  • Ability to service and maintain relevant technical facilities, equipment and processes.
