Senior Technical Officer in the HKUMed Laboratory of Cellular Therapeutics of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 524600) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical Engineering or Biomedical Sciences, with at least two years' relevant work experience in the processing or quality control of cells, genes or tissue engineered products, advanced therapy products (ATP), or GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing. Knowledge of Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR-T) manufacturing and quality control flow analysis would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and good computer skills .
The appointee will assist in GMP license application, process development, manufacturing and quality control of stem cell and transgenic cell products; maintenance of premises and equipment in a validated status; and the establishment of a quality management system.
