Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer (several posts) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 524362) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree. They should have at least 2 years' solid work experience in biological sciences or a related laboratory science discipline. Knowledge in and experience of mouse genetics will be highly preferred. They should also be highly motivated, and able to work independently and as a team in a multi- disciplinary laboratory environment. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Technical Officer.

The appointees will provide laboratory and administrative support in biomedical research, technical support in communal facilities; and assist in teaching including student practicum.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
