Senior Technical Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523911) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Design or a related discipline. Knowledge of 3D printing would be advantageous. They should have a strong 3D modeling background; experience in 3D design using Rhino; good communication and interpersonal skills; basic Python usage and coding skills; demonstrated ability to produce quality work independently under tight timelines and pressure; and the capability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a dynamic and diverse work environment to achieve targeted goals.
The appointee will provide 3D modeling for a clinical 3D printing service and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours will be required occasionally.
