  • We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Analyst to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University.

    About the role

    As the Senior Systems Integration Analyst, you will lead the alignment, integration, and optimisation of curriculum-related systems at Adelaide University, ensuring seamless interaction across multiple projects and processes. This role involves gathering and analysing business requirements, documenting system interdependencies, and driving systems design and process improvements. As the analyst, you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Project Managers and IT Product Leads to ensure that integration solutions support end-to-end process needs. Additionally, you will act as a trusted liaison between stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating transparent communication, while proactively addressing risks and challenges to ensure the successful deployment of integrated systems.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the gathering, coordination, analysis and documentation of systems design driving by business requirements through mechanisms such as workshops, establishing measurements, qualitative / quantitative data analysis.
  • Identify, analyse, and document system interdependencies across multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration between disparate systems and processes.
  • Evaluate system interactions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for optimisation in both technical and process workflows providing recommendations for action.
  • Work with the Business Process Review team to ensure the end-to-end curriculum processes form a seamless flow.
  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of end-to-end processes across projects, ensuring that business requirements align with overarching business objectives and systems integration.
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in an area relevant to Project Management or Business Analysis; and/ or extensive equivalent experience gained within a university environment, demonstrating an understanding of the higher education sector
  • Extensive senior level business analyst and project management experience in large scale projects, and working across complex organisational structures, preferably within a Vocational and/or Tertiary Education environment
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking strategic level feasibility research, business analysis, conducting feasibility studies, business case development and developing executive level briefings that facilitate senior level decision making
  • Proven experience in managing multiple strategic level projects simultaneously, with highly developed organisational skills and a capacity to act independently within established guidelines
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including extensive experience in preparing briefings and analysis reports at the executive level
