School of Archaeology, 1 South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3TG

The School of Archaeology, in partnership with the Faculty of Classics and the Science and Technology Facilities Council-funded ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow in Classical and Scientific Archaeology. The post is available from 1st October 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter, and is fixed term for an initial period of 5 years.

The appointee will be employed by the School of Archaeology and is a joint appointment with the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

They will also contribute to the development and application of science-based archaeology at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon (UK time) on Friday 14 June 2024. Interviews will take place in Oxford in the week beginning 8 July 2024.
