Position Summary

HRB Clinical Research Facility is now seeking a candidate for the key position of Research Manager (Senior Research Coordinator) to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day activity of research management in MUH, to manage and ensure full implementation of the MUH research policies and procedures, and to engage effectively with our key stakeholders and funders.

The Senior Research Coordinator will work closely with the MUH/UCC executive and management

teams to contribute research expertise in the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, practices, projects, delivery of KPIs, reporting and the development of funding proposals. The Senior Research Coordinator will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of MUH research strategy and to contribute to research development.

He/She will also deliver the HRB Clinical Research Facility education modules on digital health transformation. He/She will also support the Medical Device Research portfolio of projects in the HRB Clinical Research Facility. The Senior Research Coordinator may be asked to support other aspects of the MUH research work when relevant and the appointee will be expected to have a flexible approach in this regard.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, very organised and capable of managing a heavy and diverse workload. She/He will be able to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage many competing demands simultaneously

Salary: €83,292 gross per annum
