We are looking to recruit a motivated, full-time senior research associate to join Professor Menna Clatworthy in the University of Cambridge Department of Medicine (www. citiid.cam.ac.uk/menna-clatworthy )

The post-holder will have a background in immunology, but have experience analysing RNAseq data. They will assist in analysing RNA sequencing data (bulk and single cell), antigen receptor sequencing data, ATACseq data and spatial transcriptomic and imaging data, on samples obtained from human organs, contributing information to the Human Cell Atlas project (https: // www. humancellatlas.org). The applicant will also be expected to progress data analysis in collaboration with colleagues at Cellular Genetics at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, methods of analysing and integrating spatial data of differing scale. We are particularly interested in organ-resident immune cells and the influence of different tissue environments on immune cell function. The lab is a vibrant scientific environment, and hosts fellows and students, and the successful applicant would also be expected to contribute to training and building analysis capacity within the lab. We would anticipate that the applicant would have the grounds to lead on formulating and writing manuscripts if they wish.
