Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 531106), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Duties and Responsibilities

Our Sustainable Infrastructure Materials Laboratory is currently looking for a Senior Research Assistant who will be responsible for a diverse set of tasks. These include conducting quantitative carbon analyses of construction materials and products, performing marketing analysis of construction materials, coordinating research projects to ensure timely completion, driving commercialization efforts for innovative technologies, optimizing lab operations and project management with business acumen, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management, Business Administration, Quantitative Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of working experience since the award of the first degree. A professional qualification in management or a related field is desirable. They should demonstrate a solid grasp of business principles and practices, along with experience in commercialization, marketing, and project coordination.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
