A Senior Research Assistant position in the Department of Surgery to work on pediatric surgical diseases research is open for application to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a B.Sc degree in Biological/Medical Sciences or a related discipline with at least 4 years relevant working experience. Those with experience in tissue processing, animal disease models (mice and/or zebrafish), stem cell and primary cell culture, immunohistochemistry and confocal imaging, advanced molecular techniques, clinical database management are preferred. The appointee will participate in disease model and/or genetic/transcriptomics research projects and laboratory maintenance.
