Job Description: Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: xxxxxx) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Biological Sciences, with at least 3 years' work experience and preferably some supervisory experience. They should have excellent interpersonal skills, good computer knowledge including MS office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and preferably SPSS (for Windows), and competence in statistical analysis. They should be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team. Experience in clinical work in public hospitals would be an advantage.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing, coordinating and implementing a research project related to liver disease. He/She will prepare project materials, presentations and reports, liaise with professional bodies and other stakeholders, and perform other duties as assigned.
