Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team. This position requires to work on a groundbreaking project focused on the analysis of lower limb medical data using machine learning.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of lower limb medical data.
  • Apply machine learning techniques and algorithms to analyse collected data.
  • Has the working experience on one or more following fields: medical image analysis, machine learning and deep learning.
  • Collaborate with researchers and students to implement standard operating procedures and enhance research efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Requirement

  • A Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering/Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Previous working experience on medical image analysis or related fields for Bachelor degree holder and/or has a MPhil degree in computer vision/deep learning/machine learning or related field.
  • Familiarity with deep learning/machine learning libraries and frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn).
  • A good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good coordination, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Be highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good time management skill and can deliver projects in time.
  • Knowledge in research equipment setup or chemical handling would be an added advantage

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
