Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref. 524571) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree preferably in Dentistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines. The appointee should be experienced in research methodology, proficient in academic writing in English, and the use of statistical software. The appointee should have basic knowledge of new technologies; and possess good analytical, problem-solving solving, and communication skills with strong learning initiatives. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team including clinicians and computer scientists. Preference will be given to those with a track record in research, in particular research experience in artificial intelligence/digital dentistry/medical imaging. Applicants with lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II. Candidates with an interest in pursuing Ph.D. studies in digital dentistry or artificial intelligence would be an advantage.

The appointee will participate in clinical artificial intelligence and cutting-edge digital technology projects in dentistry. He/She will assist the team to collect, merge, and analyze patients' data. He/She may also be required to perform research administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
