Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Manager/Project Coordinator) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 524207) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health or related disciplines, with 3 years' post-qualification experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication skills; and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with a track record of implementing and evaluating intervention with clinical trials. Experience in handling quantitative research with STATA or SPSS and/or qualitative research would be distinct advantages. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II.

The appointee will be responsible for managing and analysing data from clinical/community-based trials and survey studies related to tobacco and alcohol use. He/She will also assist in subject recruitment, intervention and instrument development, intervention delivery; and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
