As a Senior Research Assistant, you'll contribute to innovative projects within the Queensland Digital Health Centre's workforce and education research program. Collaborate with government, education, and health sectors to enhance the digital health capabilities of Australia's healthcare workforce.     Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive cutting-edge research in digital health, designing studies and developing innovative protocols.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across health services, universities, and national organisations to deliver impactful research projects.

  • Lead the creation of high-quality research outputs, including publications, presentations, and grant applications.

  • Monitor project progress, solve challenges, and ensure compliance with ethical and operational standards.

  • About You

  • Completion of a degree in health, medicine, education, IT, or digital health with proven experience in coordinating activities, or an equivalent combination of education and training.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in research, including expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods, with the ability to apply appropriate methodologies to health or education research.

  • Strong skills in managing research projects, including budget oversight, stakeholder engagement, and navigating clinical research ethics and governance processes.

  • Significant experience working in interdisciplinary contexts, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse fields.

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan ahead, prioritise tasks, and work independently or collaboratively under tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear documentation, liaise effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, and engage in teaching, learning, or workplace training initiatives.

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including: right to work in Australia and mandatory immunisations.
