Position Summary:

The Campus HR team provides strategic HR services in the areas of engagement and wellness, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, consulting and coaching, compensation, and classification. Our team delivers great service and high-quality solutions to over 12,000 staff. The Senior Recruiter will use employment and staffing techniques and concepts for employment, sourcing programs, and policies for the organization. Employment and search efforts are diverse and complex in scope, where analyses of situations require a review of variety of factors. Identifies and presents qualified candidates for professional level positions and leads search committees though recruitment life cycle. Exercises considerable judgment and discretion to determine appropriate action. Works with senior internal and external contacts.

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a recruiter in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures; knowledge of functional area and understands how work may impact other areas.
  • Thorough knowledge of the recruitment, screening, interviewing and referral processes.
  • Works with other areas of human resources as it relates to the employment function. Knowledge of employment law.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as those needed for conducting needs assessment, providing input on candidate selection and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated abilities associated with problem identification; reasoning; ability to work with business units in developing ideas to solve staffing issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex analyses and develop recommendations.
  • Highly skilled in public speaking with ability to speak effectively and articulately in front of a large audience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience using of a variety of sourcing techniques, including social networking, internet, and other database searches.
  • Technical skills sufficient to effectively use MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, internet sourcing systems
  • Preferred:

  • Experience leading senior level searches and providing guidance to search committees through industry best practices.
  • Executive search or agency experience for leadership roles.
